  I never write bad reviews and consider myself a reasonable person, but I am completely annoyed by their inefficient warehousing situation. I came here to get a couch cover. Checked online and there were 10 left - great (I do not own a car but expected to grab it and hop on the subway). When I got there I had to go all the way to the living room section where I waited in line until someone was available to help (on a non-busy Wednesday evening). After the wait the associate had to call the warehouse and complete a form, which I had to go down and pay for. I was informed I had the following options: 1) Wait until close (for 3 hours!!) for the warehouse to deliver it to the store 2) Take public transit to the warehouse to pick it up myself since I do not own a car (it's a subway ride to Don Mills and then TWO buses to get there) plus I have to get back home 3) Come back tomorrow - making the trip from downtown all the way back to the store again or, 4) Have it delivered to my home for $79 (the items were $149) Are you kidding me? For a couch cover? I understand you're expanding and need more capacity. If I had a car it wouldn't be a big deal. If there was a shuttle that would take me there, inconvenient, but sure. Even if there was a disclaimer on the website saying I should call and have it ordered ahead of time then pick it up, even better. But for a Swedish company, I'd expect more in terms of solutions and available options to a customer. There were no solutions that wouldn't take up hours of my time. 2 stars because your employees are nice since I'm assuming IKEA is a great place to work. But if you do not have a car, save the hassle and go to the Etobicoke location so you don't waste your time waiting for your items at their warehouse. Get this sorted out North York IKEA.

  IKEA furnitures are precisely made, much better than some brands. They are solid if assembled correctly. Missing or damaged any part? Ask nice stuffs, they are helpful and you will get your parts soon from return/services desk.

  Huge store with everything you need concerning home furnishing. The restaurant can get quite busy during breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food quality is average but the prices are good en they have a changing selection of dishes. Leslie subway station is within walking distance and they even run a shuttle service to and from the station. Parking space is also never a problem.
